چکیده

Abstract The research was carried out in the animal field of Al-Kafeel Station / Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine Karbala Governorate (15 km south city ) 200 local goats were used from first December 2020 to May 2021, chemical analysis milk components also laboratory Abu Ghraib Dairy Laboratory, order to, study prediction mastitis infection through content somatic cells and relationship California test score (CMT) with main results showed a significant effect (P≤0.01) production cycle sequence on number milk, as fourth or more recorded maximum (1377.56 × 10 3 cells/ml milk) compared their counterparts cycles 1, 2, 3. There (P<0.01) for stage it found that highest at beginning (1298.37 lowest end (1125.31 milk). is difference (P≤0.05) according level production, reached mothers who gave less than 500 kg/season 1368.01×10 milk. condition cow (Uninfected infected mastitis) cells, high mastitis, (1493.54 cells/ml) Uninfected positive highly correlation between infection, coefficient 0.78, which reflects possibility early by measuring this will lead take necessary administrative measures procedures Preventive healthy reduce injury improve resistance herd. negative CMT percentage both fat protein significantly lactose, amounted - 0.74, -0.59 -0.27, respectively.

Monitoring goat and sheep milk somatic cell counts

The milk somatic cell count (MSCC) forms the basis of abnormal milk control programs world wide for goats, cows and sheep. To better understand factors that contribute to elevations in MSCC, the effects of stage of lactation, parity, breed and state/area in the United States (US) on MSCC were examined. Least squares means were calculated on composite milk somatic cell scores from 26,607 goats, ...

Bulk tank milk somatic cell count and sources of raw milk contamination with mastitis pathogens

The objective of this study was to probe the relationship between prevalence of selected principal mastitis pathogens and somatic cell counts in bulk tank milk samples. The sources of milk contamination were evaluated. The samples were collected from 298 dairy herds (with approximately 32 000 dairy cows). Only 48.3% of the bulk tank milk samples were free of contamination of pathogens of intere...

Somatic cell count and alkaline phosphatase activity in milk for evaluation of mastitis in buffalo

BACKGROUND AND AIM Mastitis is a serious disease of dairy animals causing great economic losses due to a reduction in milk yield as well as lowering its nutritive value. The application of somatic cell count (SCC) and alkaline phosphatase activity in the milk for diagnosis of mastitis in buffalo is not well documented. Therefore, the present study was conducted to observe the SCC and alkaline p...

Effect of somatic cell count and mastitis pathogens on milk composition in Gyr cows

BACKGROUND Gyr cows are well adapted to tropical conditions, resistant to some tropical diseases and have satisfactory milk production. However, Gyr dairy herds have a high prevalence of subclinical mastitis, which negatively affects their milk yield and composition. The objectives of this study were (i) to evaluate the effects of seasonality, mammary quarter location (rear x front), mastitis-c...
